Accreditation

Accreditation is a voluntary process that identifies and acknowledges educational programs and/or institutions for achieving and maintaining a level of quality, performance, and integrity that meets meaningful standards. A school that decides to become accredited does a comprehensive, in-depth study of the quality of its education, administrative practices, curriculum, student affairs, faculty competence, and relationships with employers. Only after an on-site visit and a commission review to verify that the school meets the standards may the program and/or institution be accredited.

The Steiner Institute of Esthetics in Arizona and the the Steiner Institute of Esthetics at UCMT (Utah) are accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET).

The Steiner Institute of Esthetics at VASOM (Virginia) and Baltimore School of Massage's Steiner Institute of Esthetics (Maryland) are accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC).

The Steiner Institute of Esthetics at VASOM is certified to operate in Virginia by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV). Baltimore School of Massage's Steiner Institute of Esthetics is licensed to operate in Maryland by the Maryland Higher Education Commission. The Steiner Institute of Esthetics at ASMT is licensed to operate in Arizona by the Arizona State Board of Cosmetology. The Steiner Institute of Esthetics at UCMT is licensed to operate in Utah by the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing.
