Program Overview
This 720-hour program offers training in the theory and practice of Esthetics that exceeds Utah state licensing requirements and gives students a great deal of hands-on, real-world clinical experience that will allow them to graduate as experienced Estheticians. The program emphasizes the structure and function of the skin and prepares students to critically assess and meet the unique needs of each client.
The program delivers a strong foundation in the applied and general sciences. Business and career development classes, along with training in state laws and regulations, are also offered. The program offers instruction in basic facials, color theory, makeup artistry, body treatments, aromatherapy, cosmetic chemistry, and hair removal.

To provide students with the required hours, course offerings, and knowledge base to sit for the state licensing exam for Estheticians. To train students to critically think as they assess and address the individual needs of each client. To provide a content-rich curriculum that exceeds minimum requirements in theory, lab, and clinical experience and prepares students to confidently enter the industry ready to work.

Program Overview
The Master Esthetics Program includes the 720 hours of the Professional Esthetics Program and adds an additional 480 hours of advanced skills and techniques to complete the 1200-hour requirement for licensure as a Master Esthetician in the state of Utah.
Students gain hands-on experience in advanced spa techniques including microdermabrasion, microcurrent, and advanced chemical peels. Business courses emphasize leadership and management to better prepare students to advance their career into spa management and/or ownership. Students are also trained in the theory and application of advanced body wraps, cosmetic chemistry, camouflage makeup techniques, hydrotherapy, and Ayurvedic principles (with an emphasis on how to incorporate those principles into their skin care practice).
Program Objectives
To give students the skills and experience they need to achieve the career they desire, whether it be to work in a clinical setting or in a medical, resort, or day spa. To provide students with the required course offerings and knowledge to sit for the Utah state licensing exam for Master Estheticians.

Program Overview
This program offers training in the theoretical and practical components of esthetics. The theory classes emphasize study in dermatology, physiology and histology of the skin, product chemistry and ingredients, and salon safety and sanitation. Business and career development classes, along with training in Maryland laws and regulations, are also offered. The practical portion of the program enables students to develop the hands-on skills necessary to be an effective esthetician. The Esthetics Training Program offers instruction in facials, makeup application, depilatory waxing procedures, non-wax hair removal, and mask therapy. This program meets the requirements set forth by the Maryland State Board of Cosmetology.
Program Objectives
To equip students with the skills necessary to become successful estheticians in the state of Maryland and to meet the professional standards of the skin care industry. To give students a thorough working knowledge of the skin and the ability to provide facial treatments both manually and with the aid of machines.
